TLDR: One of the best lunch deals in Louisville with standout dishes and exceptional service from start to finish.
Bar Vetti is easily one of the best lunch spots in Louisville, especially if you take advantage of their 2 for $27 prix fixe. It is hands down one of the best deals in the city and delivers both quality and value.
Our group of four had a fantastic lunch starting with the Caesar salad, which is anything but ordinary. It comes wedge style with an everything bagel inspired crumble and a housemade dressing that ties it all together perfectly. It is creative without being overdone and sets the tone for the meal.
We also shared the bacon and Brussels sprout pizza for the table, which was a standout. The crust had that ideal chew with a beautifully golden brown finish, and the toppings were balanced and flavorful without overpowering each other.
For my main, I went with the cacio e pepe rigatoni. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and coated in a rich, well executed sauce that clung to every noodle. Simple dish done exactly right.
Service was amazing from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing smoothly without ever feeling rushed, which made the whole experience even better.
Overall, Bar Vetti delivers an excellent lunch experience with standout dishes, top tier service, and unbeatable value. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in Louisville.

We loved the Rigatoni Cacio e Pepe, more on the oily side rather than creamy. The Goat Cheese Gnocchi tasted weird, not sure if it was the artichokes or spices, but it did not resemble any Italian pasta I've had before, wouldn't recommend. The roasted brussels sprouts were good, as well as the cheese pizza. Good service overall.

Initially had reservations elsewhere but changed to Bar Vetti after getting a recommendation from a local. Frankly, wish we hadn't changed. We started with the Caesar Salad which I liked but wasn't my wife's favorite. We then split the meatballs and the brussels and bacon pizza and didn't finish either.

There’s a lot of potential here. I sat at the bar for a while before anyone noticed me, but my server ended up being very kind. The host was not friendly and neither was the first bartender who greeted the customer beside me, but didn’t greet me or ask if I wanted a drink. The burrata was good, but it def needs some freshness/brightness (tomatos or basil or similar). The steak and risotto was nice and creamy — mushrooms cooked to perfection — the meat was overly salted to the point where it heavily impacted the taste of the dish. I think the menu needs tweaking as everything seemed very heavy on the menu (minus the few salads).

I had the pleasure of having my first date with a gentleman here last night (Friday at 6:00) and it was wonderful, especially thanks to our server Kya. This was both of our very first time here and it could not have been more perfect of a dinner. We had a banquet table near the back of the restaurant and even being nearby server pathways it was still quiet enough to have conversation. The atmosphere was splendid with photos all on the walls and great lighting, and the seating was so comfortable! We had the burrata and the 4 cheese pizza, though we had already looked at the menu online (thanks to whoever made the website menu available without forcing you to create an account and start an online order)and decided before we got there, Kya was very personable and she offered us bottled sparkling water with limes which was lovely. Kya was attentive and made sure our food arrived in perfect timing as we were just finishing our appetizer as she delivered the pizza, giving it just enough time to cool just right before we enjoyed it. She even took note of my request in my reservation to discreetly make sure I could get the bill so my date would not have the chance to "fight" me for the check. She also made sure to clear our plates as soon as our food was boxed and made sure the table didn't feel cluttered. It doesn't matter for the review but he and I thought it was very serendipitous that our server's name was the name of Katara's mother and eventual daughter in Avatar the Last Airbender which is the first thing he and I talked about when we met being one of our favorite shows. The bread for the burrata was toasted well but not hard to eat, the oil and what I believe was balsamic made it incredible. The pizza was fantastic as well. Very nice portions for the price, we even had a couple slices of pizza to take with us. Kya was truly amazing and she served us exactly curated to our needs, being present to refill our glasses and bring us anything we needed while making sure to read our table and know we wanted that time just for us. We will definitely be back on future dates and be asking for her.
