After visiting Spain, and trying the paella and calamari, I wanted to try this place in Louisville. I brought my friends with me because I wanted them to taste with Spain might taste like and to say the least we were very, very disappointing. I asked the waitress if she had any specials she didn’t bother telling us about the menu or any recommendations just not very personable. She said what we have is on the man no specials kind of feisty. We ordered calamari which was about 10 small fried and dried unseasoned pieces on top of a bed of Lays potato chips, peppers, and onions then we order beef and chorizo empanadas and it had no flavor. It was very greasy. I’m assuming from the chorizo then I order the chicken tenders double breaded no flavor no seasoning just lots of bread and chicken breast. I peeled most of the breading off because at that point it was just extra carbs no flavor. The meat was red. It was odd. I really hoped that it would be good. My friend ordered the fried zucchini and it was actually pretty good. We wanted to order a three course meal, but after receiving our entrées, we decided not to give it any more tries when our waitress ask how we like the food I wanted to be honest so I told her that we did not enjoy it. She said nobody’s ever had a problem with the menu which after reading the reviews it’s hard to believe. She asked if we wanted to switch it out for something, but we didn’t want to inconvenience anyone and we were very hungry. After we told her what we thought about the food, she didn’t come back to check on us when we were ready to leave so we ended up waiting by the door to pay and she stood there silently very uncomfortable while checking out on one ticket. I didn’t get any other pictures of the food because it was not worthy. I’m so disappointed because the food smells so good outside in the parking lot, which was very hard to maneuver.

We decided to give this place a try and went here for a late lunch… the restaurant is very well decorated, incredibly clean and comfortable and the service is impeccable. We ordered a pitcher of the red sangria and it was very well made. For food we ordered a variety of tapas - chicken, salad, steak, potatoes, olives… everything was incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend eating here and the prices are very reasonable for a high quality restaurant. I will definitely be back! A++++

Simply the BEST lasagna I’ve had in my life!!! The restaurant has a very nice vibe and all the environment makes you feel comfortable. The waiters/staff are amazing. This bistro is definitely the best in Louisville area. We also ordered the beef sirloin which was delicious, fine spices, a truly chef thing! But don’t miss the lasagna, I was positively impressed and I will order again next time.

It's a great place to spend an evening, order tapas, get a pitcher of sangría and a big pot of paella. It tastes just like my dad made it.
