Simply the BEST lasagna I’ve had in my life!!! The restaurant has a very nice vibe and all the environment makes you feel comfortable. The waiters/staff are amazing. This bistro is definitely the best in Louisville area. We also ordered the beef sirloin which was delicious, fine spices, a truly chef thing! But don’t miss the lasagna, I was positively impressed and I will order again next time.

We'd thought about checking this place out for years and finally did with some friends. It's a tiny place but definitely worth checking out. It's cute and they had live music. My only complaint, and it wasn't worth changing the rating, is that we called ahead with a reservation but when we arrived at the scheduled reservation, they had no room in the dining room. There was a table available in the bar area so we didn't have to wait. It was just a bit confusing. The wall has a huge window between the bar and the dining area so we were able to still hear the music and enjoy it just the same. The food was delicious and the service was great. They were very attentive.

1st time customers. We started with the Calamari & it was very few pieces of dried out calamari sitting on a bowl full of onions & peppers. Then we tried the chicken & cheese empanadas. They were overcooked with burnt edges and dry on the inside. We shared the Catalan Spinach. That dish was the best we’d ever tasted, with just enough bacon and onions! Our final dish was the Paella “Surf & Turf”. Again, overcooked! When our waitress brought it to our table, my husband & I looked at each other because the dish appeared burnt. The waitress attempted to stir it for us, but when she did, she scrapped the bottom of the dish so hard, burnt rice spilling out the pan. We weren’t going to say anything, but when asked how everything was, I honestly told her that our dishes were overcooked. She walked off, with no response. We paid for our meal, gave her a 20% tip and left.

AhMazing experience. Odd on the outside. Magic on the inside. The hostess/waitress is wonderful and her mom is the chef. Seriously home cooking - on a Jacques Pepin level. Everything we had was amazing from the red and white pitchers of Sangria - to the tapas, to the Paella.
They had live entertainment on Tuesday. ??? Lucky for us - this young guy sang and played the trombone (not at the same time). Soft and sexy - played some of my favorite vintage Cuban songs from my heros. Top shelf night. Top shelf food. Our whole party of 6 all agreed. Definitely coming back. It was a wonderful experience. Date night or a special occasion place. Not stuffy. Very relaxed yet top shelf food and service. We felt it was very reasonable for the quality of everything we got.
