When I made our reservation a week ago I was happy to see that I got the time we wanted “before everyone else”.
When we arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday night and there were only a handful of cars we should’ve known something wasn’t right.
We were greeted quickly and led through the kitchen which was not as clean as you’d expect, paper in the floor etc, and the server alley had something spilled on the floor.
We let those couple of early red flags go hoping things would be fine as we had been looking forward to dinner here all week.
The carpet coming out of the server alley was very dark, and the smell that greeted us coming into the dining area wasn’t great, kinda musty/ dirty smelling.
From the increase in prices, to the drop in service and cleanliness I can see why the place was empty.
We figured WTH we’re already here so we ordered a $26 appetizer and a $13 limoncello martini.
The bread was brought out and wasn’t what we remembered, nor was the olive oil & vinaigrette, as it was in a tiny ramekin.
The appetizer came out ok, but eventually we had to go find our server to ask about the drink.
We were told they had to go get the ingredients to make it (?) and that’s why it was taking so long!
I added pictures, that’s how it was served, not full and not made correctly, the one pictured that is made correctly is a picture from their menu, as bad as it was assembled, it tasted just as bad, so we told our server we didn’t want it, so she left it in the table with us, we had to ask her to remove it.
My wife ordered a $3 sweet tea instead, pictures also attached, the tea had no flavor and was very thin, tasted only of sugar and water, finally swapped it for a soda.
When the $50 plate of chicken Marsala arrived, it was warm while the $8 fettuccine was screaming hot.
The Marsala sauce was overcooked to the point it looked like beef gravy, and the knife was in the sauce, and instead of 5 pieces of chicken, there were two pieces and and bunch of smaller sections / chunks.
Finally after a few trips through the room our server asked how the food was. By now another couple had been set next to us in an otherwise open restaurant so we didn’t feel the need to complain in front of other guests, but not once did a manager stop by even after we sent two drinks back, one of which we had to go hunt down our server for.
They’ve stopped serving dishes with large spoons, instead I got large metal tongs like I’d grill with(?)
After all of that, and a $95 bill, the receipt suggested no less than 17% tip.
I tipped $10, the wife got on me so I tipped $15 on $95.
Never again, if you’ve read this far, do yourself a favor and find another restaurant, I know we will.
So I see an automated response, so I followed your directions and sent a communication through your website on Monday the 22nd.
Still no response by the 26th.

This was a repeat visit to celebrate a special occasion and we have absolutely loved our visits both times! We have had the pleasure of being served by John both times and he has been an excellent server! He is always attentive and super quick to get anything we need. He has no problems making sure we are completely satisfied and we will be continuing to sit with him when possible in the future. We greatly appreciate the birthday treatment and the ladies enjoyed the espresso martini’s John made them this visit. Wonderful!

We came in for dinner and were seated right away. We arrived for an early dinner. We've eaten at this restaurant numerous times through the years. They didn't offer the bread and dipping oil so I asked if they still had that since it was always delicious. The waitress said they did but we're out of bread. The rest of the meal was great but the portion sizes have changed and are smaller since Covid. This is a family style restaurant so it's all shareable portions but if you havent been since the pandemic expect smaller portions than before. This is still a great place and we will be back.

We sat in the bar area which fine, very quiet. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the rigatoni which was good and they served so much! All the dishes are meant to be shared here by 2 or more people so don't be put off by the prices.
