This is my third time visiting Louisville, Kentucky, and I was always used to eating pizzas from big, well-known chains. Last week, I asked my nephew — who already lives here in the United States — to pick up a few pizzas for us. When I tried them, I was honestly amazed and very satisfied with the quality and flavor.
It’s a local pizzeria here in Louisville, and it really surprised me. The dough is different, lighter, and tastes much more natural — truly excellent.
Today I had the chance to visit the place in person, and I was helped by Laina, who was very friendly and professional. I left absolutely in love with the pizza and the place as well.

Love going to Sicilian! Everyone there is super friendly and welcoming. We love sitting out on the patio when the weather’s nice! It's just a laid back, easygoing spot to share a good meal (and catch a game on the big screens, too). Their pizza never disappoints, and there’s plenty to choose from. Our favorites are the margherita and the hot brown!!

Order: Hand-Tossed Margherita Pizza, Cinnamon Sticks
Total Cost: ~$30
I was really hoping for a great local meal, but unfortunately, this order fell well short of expectations.
The main issue across the board was the dough consistency. I ordered the hand-tossed Margherita pizza, but the crust was far too dense and ended up being extremely tough and chewy rather than light or crisp. To finish the meal, I tried the cinnamon sticks for dessert, but they suffered from the exact same issue—overly dense and tough to chew.
At around $30 for a pizza and dessert, the quality just wasn't there for the price point. Between the texture issues and the steep cost for what was delivered, it really didn't feel worth the value. Disappointed with this run, and I hope they can tweak their dough process moving forward.

Im so glad I don't live far from this place. I absolutely love the Mexican pizza that they have. Its the best in the city by far, maybe the whole state. And their Cinnamon sticks will blow you out of the water! If you want to try a new local pizza place, I highly recommend trying this place, you wont be disappointed!

Growing up in NYC, I'm particular about my pizza. It takes a lot to impress me. Sicilian Pizza & Pasta in Louisville did exactly that. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and attentive, and the pizza itself hit every note: perfectly balanced crust, rich sauce, and cheese done right. It's the kind of pie that makes you want to come back for more, and I did, several times.
