We are lucky enough to live within walking distance. Smith is great! today they had me come in so they could diagnose the problem before just putting me on the schedule. They don't do mufflers but they told me a place to go that's reasonable. we think they are really reasonably priced and trustworthy and we highly recommend them.

Smiths Imported Car Service is as good as it gets in the industry. From the very first conversation, they were fair, honest, upfront, and refreshingly candid about everything—no runaround, no surprises, just real transparency. Their communication was top‑tier from the beginning; I always knew what was going on, what to expect, and why certain steps were needed. It’s rare to find an auto shop that treats you with this level of respect and clarity.
The quality of their work matched their integrity, and that combination is exactly why I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a trustworthy, reliable place to take their vehicle. I’ll definitely be going back in the future because they’ve earned my confidence in every way.

They just did a wheel bearing replacement on my 2011 Avalon. The price was reasonable. Based on local reputation, Smith Imported Car Service is generally considered one of the most trustworthy shops in Louisville. They are known for being thorough rather than the "cheapest in town." I would say that checks out ✔️😁 satisfied customer.

The best. We've been going to Smith Bros for 9 years -- even with new cars. Very reasonably priced and don't try to sell you services you don't need.

After purchasing a used Audi cabriolet, the oil light illuminated the very next day. I contacted the dealership, who promptly directed me to Smith Imported Car Service for a full-synthetic oil and filter change. The team at Smith was efficient and thorough; they not only performed the necessary service but also conducted a general check-up on the vehicle. I was very pleased to hear that they confirmed everything appeared to be running smoothly. Based on this experience, Smith Imported Car Service will absolutely be my new, trusted automotive shop for both my car and my truck going forward. Highly recommended!
