This was my first time using a CPA. The staff was amazing. Super nice and very professional. I will be returning next time I need them. My taxes were completed in less than 2 weeks. Maggie the person who prepared my taxes was very thorough. Thanks for making my first experience with a CPA a good one.

Have worked with them for 30 years and the past two years have been absolutely miserable. I have brought numerous clients to this business including my extended family. They provide no communication and take weeks and weeks to complete returns. Two years in a row I have received my tax returns on the deadline date. Can not recommend.

After getting a letter from IRS, I notified them that they said I owed $15,000 MORE for 2019❗️I was frantic, had trouble connecting to the person who prepared it, and when I finally did, they told me to FAX them paperwork. I do, and never get a call back, or email. So after 5 days, I call again, and it was like starting all over. Nothing had been looked at to find the problem ! I am furious.
Very unconcerned, and certainly not responsive!
So, I go to another CPA, and it took him less than 5 minutes to see what was wrong , and reassure me it can be fixed easily. Said I might owe $1000, or less! He clearly explained how it had happened, and that it was a common mistake.
Guess who will be doing my taxes from now on? NOT STEPHENS AND LAWSON❗️Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Gave no tax guidance going into 2019. So I owe taxes in 2020. Also failed to look at w2 accurately to see railroad withholdings. I had to even point that out in box 14 to her which showed withholdings. Does not inspire confidence, and shows lack of knowledge. Should have went someplace else because it would have been cheaper.

Worst accountants EVER!!! They lost my information several times. Billed me incorrectly three times AND took months to give me my return. Then I find out that they opted for my return that I was going to get back and had it applied to next years tax return. These are the worst accountants I have ever dealt with. Save your money and headaches and go somewhere else
